With the sole intent to create an opportunity to benefit staff members of credit unions, any registration fees exceeding costs (conference hotel meeting charges, speakers, conference materials, external vendors) will be donated to the Carolinas Credit Union Foundation in the name of participating credit unions, speakers and supporters.

The Carolinas Credit Union Foundation was incorporated in 1993 as a charitable organization to the embodiment of the "people helping people" philosophy of credit unions. The Foundation has a rich heritage of doing great things across North Carolina and South Carolina. Traditionally, the Foundation has promoted large projects as part of its social responsibility efforts. Credit unions have raised dollars for Prevent Child Abuse, the Duke Pediatric Bone Marrow Center, the Levine Children's Hospital and the Greenville Children's Hospital, The most notable fundraising efforts are for Victory Junction, where credit unions have invested more than $4 million and serve as one of the largest corporate contributors. From 2015-2019 the Foundation served as the exclusive sponsor of Victory Junction's Reach Program. Through the $900,000 financial commitment by the Foundation, Victory Junction takes the magic of camp beyond the gates and brings specialized camp-style programming to children and families year-round at hospitals and Ronald McDonald Houses in North and South Carolina. The financial and volunteer support of the credit union system in the Carolinas ensures the Carolinas Credit Union Foundation continues to thrive. As a partner in philanthropy with credit unions, the Foundation also assists with charitable giving through donor-advised funds, managing scholarship programs, supporting small credit unions with professional development grants, and aiding disaster relief for the local, national, and global credit union communities.
